The concept for the collection “Desert Aura” is inspired by the mystique of the desert and its promise of freedom for those who dare to venture into its wilds. The designs incorporate symbols of freedom, solitude, sunrises and mysterious energy emanating from the plants that thrive there. The collection will feature the Estella Embroidered Flare, Astrid Mini Skirt, and the Nica Jackets.
Jenny Hart was born in 1972 in Iowa City and raised in rural Illinois. She is best known for her hand embroidery and her design and supply company Sublime Stitching. Her works have been exhibited and published internationally and are included in public and private collections of note, including the estate of Elizabeth Taylor and the permanent collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Renwick Gallery..
